ANN ARBOR, Mich., March 25, 2013 — Fluency Media client Nonni’s Foods LLC earned Snack Food & Wholesale Bakery Magazine’s Best New Snack and Bakery Product of 2012 for Nonni’s new salted caramel flavor. Nonni’s Salted Caramel Biscotti earned over 50% of the total vote, largely due to Fluency Media’s social media and email marketing efforts.

The editors of Snack Food & Wholesale Bakery chose 10 of their favorite bakery and snack food products featured in the magazine in 2012, selecting finalists based on originality, packaging and taste. The finalists were posted on their website and Snack Food & Wholesale Bakery readers were invited to vote for their favorites. Nonni’s Salted Caramel Biscotti ousted popular snack foods like BIGS Hidden Valley Ranch Sunflower Seeds and Quaker Foods’ Quaker Popped in the public poll, thanks to Fluency’s social media marketing and email blast designed to target fans of the popular cookie brand.
